Diana Wesesa is a development professional with experience in project management, community engagement, and inclusive education. Based in Iganga, Uganda, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies from Makerere University and has completed multiple leadership and digital skills trainings.

At +256 Youth Platform, Diana provides overall leadership and coordination of youth-led and community programs. Previously, as a Building Tomorrow Fellow, she led the Roots to Rise program in four underserved primary schools, supporting teachers through the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach and strengthening community engagement to improve school enrollment and learning outcomes.

Diana is also an active volunteer with the Rotaract Club of Iganga, where she has led initiatives that supported over 600 primary learners to stay in school. She is known for her inclusive leadership, strong partnerships, and commitment to sustainable community development.

Mali Ronald is the Head of Programs at +256 Youth Platform, providing leadership in the design, coordination, and monitoring of youth and community-focused programs in eastern Uganda. He has over five years of experience in social work and community development, with a strong focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights, psychosocial support, child protection, and community health promotion.

He has led and supported donor-funded initiatives in partnership with organizations such as PEPFAR and GIZ, overseeing program implementation, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and team supervision.

Mali holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Based Rehabilitation from Kyambogo University and has additional training in monitoring and evaluation, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and community development. He is fluent in English, Luganda, Lusoga, and Kiswahili and is committed to advancing youth empowerment and health equity.

Mapengo Sharifa serves as the Administration and Finance Officer at +256 Youth Platform, where she supports organizational operations, financial management, and accountability systems. She has a background in accounting and plays a key role in budgeting, financial reporting, procurement, and administrative coordination.

Sharifa is passionate about community work and committed to ensuring that resources are managed transparently and efficiently to support youth empowerment and community development initiatives. Her work strengthens organizational systems and contributes to the effective delivery of programs that create lasting impact in communities.

Tatumwa Desmond Benjamin is a health professional and communications specialist with experience across nursing, public health programs, research, and youth-led community initiatives. He has worked extensively in maternal, neonatal, and child health, health systems strengthening, and digital health engagement in eastern Uganda.

Desmond is passionate about using research, learning, and strategic communication to improve health outcomes and empower young people. His work focuses on translating evidence into action, strengthening partnerships, and supporting programs that promote equitable access to quality healthcare and youth development.
