About This Project

The Kickboxing and Boxing for Community Transformation Project is an ongoing youth-focused initiative that uses sport as a tool for positive social change. The project aims to identify, nurture, and support young people with boxing and kickboxing talents, while redirecting energy that is often misused on the streets into discipline, self-control, and purpose inside the ring.

Through structured training sessions, provision of play kits such as gloves, pads, and protective gear, and organized community boxing activities, the project creates safe spaces where young people can develop their talents, build confidence, and adopt healthy lifestyles. During community bouts and exhibitions, participants wear message-branded play kits to raise awareness on key community issues such as drug and substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, school retention, climate action, and mental health.

The project also organizes community boxing outreaches, combining sport, dialogue, and mentorship. These events attract large youth audiences and provide opportunities for sensitization, peer learning, and positive role modeling.
